Needle Knowledge!
Friday, September 9 at 7 PM - 8:30 PM, at the Oromocto Dojo - 281 Restigouche Rd
Join us and Veterinary Technician Aly Howard to learn about dog and cat vaccines, what diseases they help prevent, and what exactly is titer testing and how might it apply to you. Monetary donation at the door would be appreciated.

BBQ at CAMS Scale Model Show at FHS- May 28th
11 am - 3 pm. The Capital Area Modeller’s Society (CAMS) show is the largest and longest running model event east of Montreal and features some of the finest models from Eastern Canada, Quebec and Maine. We are pleased to have been invited to provide BBQ services, with all proceeds from the BBQ going to help the orphan animals at OSPCA.

Pet First Aid Course - May 7th

The staff from " All About Animals" will be onsite from 12 pm - 3 pm
No appointment necessary.  Available services are Dog bath and nail trims as well as Cat nail trim and soft paw application

Facebook Online Auction – Please be sure to visit our Facebook page to see our current online auction.  Gently used and new auction items (excluding clothes and furniture) can be donated to the shelter at any time.  If your business would like to donate an item or gift certificate please contact us at 446-4107.  

Hearts for the Homeless - During the month of February, local businesses and organizations show their love for the orphans by selling colorful paper hearts that are then prominently displayed in their building.  If you would like to take part in this easy ‘fun’draiser, please contact us at 446-4107 and we will supply you with the hearts, posters and advertising.   

Cupcake Day – This Canada-wide event takes place each February and is a delicious way to support your local shelter.

Bunny Brigade - Grab your crochet or knitting needles and make us a bevy of bunnies who are ready for their new home at Easter.  Each bunny is adopted to the perfect home for a small fee and comes with a personalized adoption certificate.  IF you are interested in crafting bunnies, chicks or similar for this Eggstravaganza please contact us at 446-4107. Annual Yard Sale - Our gigantic annual yard sale is held each summer and has become a much anticipated event.  Gently used items (excluding clothing and furniture) for the yard sale can be donated beginning in early May.

Christmas Tree Sale – Are you looking for the Purrfect Christmas Tree?  Do you love helping homeless animals? Stop into the shelter in December and we can help you!

Pet Photos with Santa, The Grinch & Mrs. Claus -  Have your pet’s photo taken with one or all of these beloved characters (and stay tuned to see what NEW character will joining us this year!)  This is a great opportunity for a fun picture for the annual Family Christmas card.  Children welcome!
