The Oromocto and Area SPCA is looking for a Volunteer Treasurer to join the Executive on the Board of Directors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:  Presenting reports from the accountant at meetings; attending Board of Director meetings every month; attending annual AGM every year; assisting with banking if needed; Being a co- liaison between the accountant and the shelter; Assist the board in implementing community events and markets.

Bookkeeping experience preferred but the most important qualifications are: Integrity, Attention to detail and meeting deadlines, as well as being a Team Player.

Upon Selection, a Vulnerable Sector Check will be required, a day of volunteering at the shelter, and a membership to the Oromocto and Area SPCA. There is an initial one-year probationary period.
