Because the injury was so severe, she needed to have the limb removed right away. This is Tiga after her surgery and getting ready to go home with her wonderful foster family. This beautiful baby was given the gift of life saving surgery because of the generosity of our Yelp for Help donors...like YOU. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/616eeadfa28f8e4840f1367a/589b56b2-2d92-4968-b4f9-f10fa1e42374/Screen+Shot+2021-10-26+at+3.09.14+PM.png How to Help - CAMMIE She was a 7 week old female torti kitten. Cammie was found by a young woman who was out for a walk. As she passed some woods, Cammie came running out to greet her, meowing and looking for help. It was quickly discovered that her tail had been partially de-gloved and that because it was an older injury, had maggots in it. Cammie was seen by our veterinarian, given medication, and immediately booked for life saving surgery to amputate her tail. YOUR donations made Cammie's story a happy one and she recovered beautifully and found a wonderful family to love. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/616eeadfa28f8e4840f1367a/bab75714-92f5-4ba7-ae5d-336044c60a30/Screen+Shot+2021-10-26+at+3.09.06+PM.png How to Help - GUNNER He was only a couple of years old when he came to us through the NBSPCA animal control. He's a very sweet boy who needed some help. Sadly, Gunner suffered from horribly infected and painful ears. After doing a culture, it was found that he had 4 different types of infections along with polyps. This was not something that was going to clear up on its own and the only solution to helping Gunner was surgery on his ears to remove all of the infected tissue. Thanks to your donations, Gunner made a full recovery after his extensive surgery and was adopted. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/616eeadfa28f8e4840f1367a/4e9d7bf6-6df3-4bf9-ac26-a1634d5d88b9/pawitforward.png How to Help - Make it stand out Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/616eeadfa28f8e4840f1367a/2648f287-944a-4c7a-a75c-d02f068008fb/cockatiel-parrot-white-isolated-background-close-up.jpg How to Help - Make it stand out Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference. https://www.oromoctospca.com/events-1 daily 0.75 2026-09-11 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/616eeadfa28f8e4840f1367a/1635348178821-4N8HJGVUSG9SNGBF8XJV/adorable-german-shepherd-dog-big-black-cat-banner-with-space-text.jpg Events https://www.oromoctospca.com/events-1/microchip-evening monthly 0.5 2026-09-11 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/616eeadfa28f8e4840f1367a/1789149950876-SUF5VXAXC4EO242NG36G/microchip+event.jpg Events - Microchip Evening! Thelma is an approximately 4.5 year old, spayed mixed breed. She is a large, active dog with a big personality and is looking for someone who is able to continue working with her as she navigates the world. She is extremely food-motivated and loves to learn! She enjoys going for walks and playing with toys. She isn’t a fan of children and will not be placed in a home with them. She also doesn’t like cats. She is selective of other dogs (prefers males) but has done well with friends that match her rough-housing play style. Several meetings with a new canine friend may be necessary. This big girl has a lot of love to give, she just needs to find the right fit! If you would like to meet her, please call t https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/616eeadfa28f8e4840f1367a/fb2aad31-8dcb-484e-b737-80b8ebd40f50/ospca.png Dogs - Keep in Touch! They are sweet, outgoing boys who enjoy cuddles and treats. They have been hanging out in our cat room with other cats and have been coexisting very well! Daisy and Kadoo have both had dentals and are fully healed from that surgery. Daisy has also been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and is on daily medication to help with that. The medication is not expensive. Her bloodwork shows that she is starting to show signs of kidney issues but it is in very early stages and is managed with food. Daisy and Kadoo truly love each other and depend on each other when times have gotten tough. They promise not to be much trouble.
