A) Make Sure the Animal is Still Available

Patches

Patches is a 2 year old female torti that was transferred to us from the Miramichi SPCA when she was heavily pregnant. She spent the following months in one of our amazing foster homes caring for her kittens. They have been adopted and now it is her turn. She is going to be spayed this week and would love to have her new family waiting for her! She is very sweet and personable. We are not sure how she feels about other cats or dogs. If you would like to meet this lovely lady, please call the shelter at (506) 446-4107 to make an appointment

Gorgonzola

Gorgonzola is an approximately 3 year old female calico that was brought to us by the NBSPCA Animal Protection Officers to find their new homes. She is very sweet and outgoing. She has lived in a home with several other cats and would likely adjust to new companions with slow introductions. She is being spayed this week and would love to have a family waiting for her once she is ready to go! If you would like to meet Gorgonzola, please call the shelter at (506) 446-4107 to make an appointment.

Kuro

Kuro is an approximately 5-6 year old male all black cat who was brought to us by the NBSPCA Animal Protection Officer, injured and in serious need of care.
He had terrible wounds on the backs of both of his ears, a bite wound on one of his legs, and several missing and broken teeth. It was clear that this loving boy was not thriving living in his outdoor environment. He was struggling to take care of himself and he needed help.
It was also discovered, after some bloodwork, that Kuro is FIV positive. FIV is a virus that is passed on between cats by deep bite wounds. Even more evidence that Kuro needed to find a safe place to live and heal.
Thankfully, after being neutered, antibiotics, good food and a major dental surgery, this handsome man is doing so well!
We know that he might still look a little disheveled, but we think he's gorgeous! And his personality is lovely!
Kuro is looking for a home where he will never be allowed to go outdoors again. Because of his FIVstatus, he must be strictly indoor only.
If you'd like to meet this handsome, loving boy, please call the shelter at 446-4107 to make an appointment.

Admiral Peanut

Admiral Peanut is an approximately 2 year old neutered male all black cat who was brought to us by the NBSPCA Animal Protection Officer after he was found injured and needing veterinary care. It was also discovered that Admiral P is fiv positive which means he needs to be a strictly indoor cat from now on. He is a quiet fellow and doesnt make any fuss but he loves his breakfasts and treat times! If you'd like to meet this handsome guy, please call the shelter at 446-4107 to make an appointment.

Luna

Luna is an approximately 1 year old spayed female black cat who came to us from the Tobique area with her litter of kittens. This little family spent time with one of our amazing foster families and now that the babies have all found homes, it's Luna's turn!
Don't let her grumpy face fool you, she is the sweetest and if this picture had sound, you'd hear her purring!
If you'd like to meet this gorgeous girl, please call the shelter at 446-4107 to make an appointment

Bomo

Bomo (formerly known as Timmy) is an approximately 5 year old neutered male black tabby cat who was brought to us after his owner abandoned him outside. Several families in his area had been caring for him and it was decided that he deserved to find a wonderful family who would appreciate the great boy that he is! Bomo is an independent lad who enjoys a cuddle on his own terms. He equally enjoys laying and watching the world outside his window. He has lived with cats in his previous family but he would need a slow introduction. We are not sure if he likes dogs. If you'd like to meet him, please call the shelter at 446-4107 to make an appointment.

Iggy

Iggy is an approximately 9 month old female tabby cat who was brought to us by the NBSPCA Animal Control Officer after she was found outdoors, needing veterinary care. Iggy is a very friendly girl who has lived with cats previously. She loves everyone she meets and is eager to find a family to love! If you'd like to meet her, please call the shelter at 446-4107 to make an appointment.
